Online bookings can be made up to 48 hours in advance and if you have any questions feel free to check out our FAQ page or send us a message.

  • More than 72 hours before your first trip: Full refunds are available. You may change your travel dates for free, though you must pay any seasonal price differences.
  • Within 72 hours of your first trip: A 100% cancellation fee applies. No refunds or date changes are permitted at this stage.
  • After travel has started: Once you board your first ferry, if you have booked subsequent trips, all remaining sectors (including return trips) become non-refundable.
  • No-Shows: If you miss your departure without notice, your fare is forfeited. If you notify South Sea Cruises before departure, they will do their best to move you to the next available trip, though this is not guaranteed.
Note: If you have booked a round trip or multiple ferry tickets in one booking, all legs are linked to your first departure. Any changes or cancellations must be made at least 72 hours before your very first trip. Once you have started your journey, all remaining tickets become non-refundable.

1. What is the luggage allowance on South Sea Cruises transfers?

Each passenger is permitted one carry-on bag up to 7 kg (15 lbs) and one checked bag up to 25 kg (50 lbs) free of charge. Oversized gear such as surfboards, paddleboards, or scuba equipment incurs an extra charge payable directly at check-in.

2. How early should I arrive at Port Denarau before departure?

Check-in counters at Port Denarau open 1 hour prior to departure. It is recommended to complete check-in at least 30 minutes before your ferry is scheduled to leave to allow enough time for luggage tagging and boarding.

3. Are hotel coach transfers included with my ferry ticket?

Paid coach pickup and drop-off services connect Port Denarau with major resorts across Nadi, Wailoaloa, and Denarau Island. Shuttle transfers must be selected and scheduled during the online booking process prior to travel.

4. Is the Bula Pass available for Mamanuca island transfers?

No, the Bula Pass is designed specifically for multi-day island hopping in the Yasawa Islands. For Mamanuca transfers, traveling point-to-point by booking individual sectors or round trips using the search box is the only option.
