The Yasawa Flyer, operated by South Sea Cruises, runs a daily southbound service through the Yasawa Islands each afternoon, picking up passengers from resorts and heading south to Port Denarau.

The Captain's Lounge is the premium cabin class on board, seating up to 56 passengers in a private, air-conditioned upper-deck cabin with a dedicated onboard host and complimentary food and drinks throughout the journey.

The Yasawa Flyer is a 27-metre high-speed catamaran, capable of carrying up to 250 passengers at a service speed of 24 knots. The vessel has three decks, including two air-conditioned cabins and two open-air outdoor seating areas.

The Captain's Lounge occupies a dedicated section of the upper deck, separate from general boarding areas, with its own host and complimentary food and drinks service throughout the journey.

Captain's Lounge

The Captain's Lounge is the premium class on the Yasawa Flyer, with up to 56 seats in a private, air-conditioned cabin on the upper deck. It is a dedicated space separate from the main economy deck, with a designated onboard host and complimentary food and beverages: snacks, bottled water, coffee, soft drinks, house wine, and local beer.

The Yasawa Flyer carries up to 250 passengers in total, and the economy deck can fill considerably on busy days. The Captain's Lounge keeps numbers low and the environment noticeably calmer.

For shorter southbound hops such as Turtle Island to Nanuya, Blue Lagoon Beach Resort to Naviti, or Mantaray Island Resort to Waya, the complimentary drinks and quieter setting are the main draw. For longer Yasawa-to-Yasawa transfers such as the northern Yasawas to Nacula, Waya, or Kuata, the Captain's Lounge is a meaningful upgrade, particularly if you are island-hopping over several days and want a relaxed end to each leg of the journey.

Cancellation & Amendment Policy

More than 72 hours before your first trip: Full refunds are available. You may change your travel dates for free, though you must pay any seasonal price differences.
Within 72 hours of your first trip: A 100% cancellation fee applies. No refunds or date changes are permitted at this stage.
After travel has started: Once you board your first ferry, if you have booked subsequent trips, all remaining sectors (including return trips) become non-refundable.
No-Shows: If you miss your departure without notice, your fare is forfeited. If you notify South Sea Cruises before departure, they will do their best to move you to the next available trip, though this is not guaranteed.

Note: If you have booked a round trip or multiple ferry tickets in one booking, all legs are linked to your first departure. Any changes or cancellations must be made at least 72 hours before your very first trip. Once you have started your journey, all remaining tickets become non-refundable.
