8 Day Island-Hopping Package

The Yasawa Wanderer is an 8 day, 7 night island package that takes you through three distinct regions of the Yasawa Islands, all the way up to the famous Blue Lagoon.

Rather than staying in one place, you move between resorts as you go. With daily departures aboard the Yasawa Flyer from Port Denarau, the package suits a wide range of budgets. Choose a shared dorm for a more social experience, or a private bure if you want a little more space to yourselves.

Coach and vessel transfers, accommodation, and a curated set of pre-paid activities are all covered, along with a full day pass to Malamala Beach Club as a bonus before or after your island stay.

Departure Daily at 8:45am from Port Denarau
Return Day 8 at 6:00pm to Port Denarau

Day-by-day itinerary

The Yasawa Wanderer runs in either direction and can begin on any day of the week. The sequence below reflects the standard outbound direction. Weather and sea conditions may occasionally require adjustments to the schedule.

Day 1: Port Denarau to Yasawa Gateway Region
Board the Yasawa Flyer at Port Denarau at 8:45am and head north through the Mamanuca and Yasawa Islands. You arrive in the Yasawa Gateway Region mid-morning, check in, and settle into your first resort. The afternoon is yours to get acquainted with the surroundings. A guided hike or one of the other included activities is a good way to start.

Days 2 & 3: Blue Lagoon Region
At around 10:30–11:00am, re-board the Yasawa Flyer and continue north to the Blue Lagoon Region. Spend the rest of the day settling in and exploring the resort. On day 3, the excursion to the Sawa-I-Lau Caves is a definite highlight: a short underwater swim leads you into a remarkable natural limestone cavern used for centuries in local tradition. Note that the caves are closed on Sundays.

Days 4 & 5: Manta Ray Region
After a morning at leisure, board the southbound Yasawa Flyer in the early afternoon and head to the Manta Ray Region. Day 5 brings one of the most memorable experiences the Yasawas can offer: if you are travelling between May and October, you can snorkel with manta rays at one of the best known sites in the region. Outside of this season, a guided reef snorkelling session is included instead.

Days 6 & 7: Yasawa Gateway Region (second resort)
A relaxed morning before boarding the Yasawa Flyer in the mid-afternoon, heading back south to the Yasawa Gateway Region. This time you stay at the resort you didn't visit on Day 1, giving you a fresh experience at a new property. Both resorts here offer a sunset summit hike that is well worth making time for, as it is one of the better photo opportunities of the whole trip.

Day 8: Return to Port Denarau
One final day to enjoy the beach and the resort before the Yasawa Flyer departs late afternoon, arriving back at Port Denarau at 6:00pm.
