Half day family trip
The Finding Nemo trip is designed with young families in mind. You depart Port Denarau at 8:45 am on a high-speed catamaran with South Sea Cruises, arriving at South Sea Island, Fiji's most popular day trip destination, ahead of the main crowd.
With two hours on the island largely to yourselves, there is plenty of time to snorkel, swim, paddle, and explore before heading back to Port Denarau by 11:45 am, well in time for lunch and an afternoon rest.
Complimentary drinks, a kids club, snorkelling gear, paddleboards, kayaks, and a semi-submersible coral viewer are all included.

About South Sea Island
South Sea Island is the closest of the Mamanuca Islands to Port Denarau, which is part of what makes it Fiji's most visited day trip destination.
The crossing takes around 30 minutes each way on a high-speed catamaran, with guests transferred from the main vessel to the island via a short tender boat ride on arrival.
The island is small enough to walk around easily and the reef is accessible directly from the beach, making it a straightforward option for families who want genuine tropical island time without a long journey.
The water is calm and clear even at low tide, which matters when you have young children in tow.
