5 Day Island-Hopping Package

The Island Adventurer is a 5 day, 4 night island package designed to cover as much ground as possible in a short time.

Over the five days, you stay at three different resorts across three regions: the Mamanuca Islands, the Manta Ray Region, and the Yasawa Gateway Region. It is a good fit for travellers who want genuine variety without committing to a longer trip, and the included activities mean you will have memorable experiences at every stop.

Departures are daily aboard the Yasawa Flyer from Port Denarau, and the itinerary runs in either direction. Choose a private bure for a more relaxed stay or a shared dorm if you prefer a social atmosphere. Coach and vessel transfers, 4 nights of accommodation, pre-paid activities, and a full day pass to Malamala Beach Club are all included.

Day-by-day itinerary

The Island Adventurer runs in either direction and can begin on any day of the week. The sequence below reflects the standard outbound direction. Weather and sea conditions may occasionally require adjustments to the schedule.

Day 1: Port Denarau to Mamanuca Region (South Sea Island)
Board the Yasawa Flyer at Port Denarau at 8:45am for the short trip out to South Sea Island. It is a compact, lively island with a lot packed into a small space. Complimentary non-motorised watersports are available throughout the day, and drinks (local beer, house wine, and soft drinks) are included until 4:00pm. A relaxed and social way to kick off the trip.

Days 2 & 3: Manta Ray Region
Board the Yasawa Flyer at 9:15am and head north to the Manta Ray Region. The afternoon on day 2 is free to explore the resort and get your bearings. Day 3 brings the main event: between May and October you can snorkel alongside manta rays at one of Fiji's best known spots. Outside of manta ray season, a guided reef snorkelling session is included instead. If you have the energy, a hike to the island summit at sunset is well worth the effort.

Days 4 & 5: Yasawa Gateway Region
After a final morning at the Manta Ray Region, board the vessel at 11:35am and arrive in the Yasawa Gateway Region at around 3:00pm. Day 5 gives you most of the day to get into the resort activities on offer, before a late afternoon departure on the southbound Yasawa Flyer arrives back at Port Denarau at 6:00pm.
