South Sea Island, just 30 minutes from port Denarau, is a tiny treasure in the Mamanuca Islands surrounded by crystal clear waters and coral reefs teeming with tropical fish. Description
Enjoy your day lazing on the beach, dig in to a delicious barbeque and salad lunch, snorkelling, and enjoying the myriad of activities on offer. There’s also a salt water swimming pool and non-motorised water sports equipment available free of charge.
Hammocks sway peacefully under the cool shade of palm trees and there's plenty of sandy areas to relax. Catch some rays of sunshine with a cool drink beside the pool or take your snorkel and explore the magnificent underwater world below. Although the island is uninhabited, you can still get a taste of Fijian culture with a traditional Meke performance and craft market (Monday to Saturday).

Food and Drinks
Lunchtime is a highlight of the trip! Everyone gathers around rustic tables at the open-air restaurant to watch Fijian performances and enjoy a delicious BBQ buffet lunch with complementary beer, wine and soft drinks.

Coach transfers
Important: If you do not book your coach transfer in advance, getting to Denarau Marina is your responsibility and at your own costs. Coaches meet each vessel arrival at the marina. For more information, times and the nearest pick-up location to your hotel, please have a look at the transfer map.
Scuba Diving
Introductory and/or certified diving is also available to book as an upgrade in the menu. Pretty reef formations and vibrant fish makes South Sea island a first time diver's dream. Start in the pool and then explore the stunning coral gardens and the fish life surrounding the island on a 'Discover Scuba' intro dive.
There is also plenty to keep certified divers amused, with several beach dives and a shipwreck to explore. Diving in this area you can encounter drop offs and wall dives with lots of hard corals, crystal clear water & large schools of pelagic fish.
For adults, Scuba Diving can be purchased as an optional extra in the menu on this page. This can only be done on a Full Day cruise due to time constraints. Feel free to contact us with any questions you may have.

Cancellations
All cancellations must be received in writing & are subject to a handling fee as stipulated in Fiji-bookings.com general terms and conditions.
South Sea Cruises policy:
- Cancellations within 24 hours or No Show = no refund.
- Amendment fees – Outside 24 hours, no Fees apply to amend to another South Sea Cruises Day trip or an alternative date, however if the new trip is subsequently cancelled, 100% cancellation fee applies.
